BERT BISSELL REMEMBERED. An anthology Compiled by David Monkton & Alan Wedge.

A complilation of tributes to Bert at the time of his death and responses to an appeal or stories and incidents about him. Bert was a remarkable person. You could say of him ' once seen, never forgotten.'

.....'Methodism needs to keep alive the memory of such sons and daughters; in following their example, our generation may rekindle the fire that burns with longing for peace with justice.' Paul Boateng MP.

"An utterly sensible saint" is the description of Bert Bissell by one of the contributors to this little book .It is echoed by others in different ways, all with immense affection and profound thanksgiving to God for the privilege of having met this man.... I met him only very briefly but have been greatly moved by these tributes. The impact of a life truly and faithfully lived to the glory of God is felt way beyond those who knew him.'
